For full job description and details on how to apply: https://enterprise.gov.ie/en/News-And-Events/Public-Notices/   An opportunity now exists for a Patent Examiner, reporting to the Senior Examiner of Patents in the Intellectual Property Office of Ireland (IPOI) at the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.  The Patent Examiner plays a crucial role in examining applications for patents to determine whether the application meets the legislative requirements of the Patents Act 1992 and other associated legislation.   The position of the Patent Examiner is a technical position.  An Examiner’s work combines scientific expertise with analytical research and an eye for the legal aspects of intellectual property.    Candidates should note that the position they are applying for is a full-time, permanent position and will result with one assignment to the Intellectual Property Office of Ireland, based in Co.
