Head of Digital & Communications. Application details/procedure: THE ORGANISATION. Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) is the representative voice and champion of the design and craft industry in Ireland, representing all disciplines of practitioners. Its objectives are to foster the growth and commercial strength of the design and craft sector, communicate its unique identity and stimulate quality design and competitiveness. Based in Kilkenny, DCCI has 55 member organisations and over 2,500 registered craft enterprises, its activities are funded by the Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation via Enterprise Ireland. As part of its continued development, DCCI is now seeking an exceptional digital communications professional with the creativity and passion to help drive growth and strengthen its brand identity in the design and craft sector in Ireland. THE ROLE. Reporting to the CEO and leading a small team of specialists, the Head of Digital & Communications will maintain an overview of all online communications, external-facing digital products and social media across DCCI. This senior leadership role will develop and enhance the reputation of DCCI’s brand as a leading agency providing quality, efficient, market services for the benefit of the craft and design sector. THE PERSON. You are a strong and influential digital communications leader who can engage and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Strong mentoring and strategic direction will be essential to your success. You will have a minimum of ten years’ solid experience of managing digital platforms and integrating channels and tools into communications strategy and delivery.
