My client is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical and Design Engineer to join their long standing engineering company based in Co. Kilkenny. Role responsibilities include; Producing 3D models & 2D fabrication drawings for customised machine orders. Producing detailed specifications and designs based on customer requirements. These will include hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic elements. Liaising with production during fabrication and assembly of customised machines. A hands-on approach is expected. Producing bills of materials for designs. Ensuring all the required components and elements of the design are completed on time and to the correct specification. Liaising with sales personnel and customers to ensure the correct setup and use of finished machines. Providing documentation where required. Archiving all design details for future reference and after sales support. The ideal candidate will have ; Experience in the agricultural machinery industry. Diploma/Degree level education in Mechanical Engineering. Experience working with MS Excel and Solidworks. Skills: Excel, Solidworks, Mechanical Engineering, agricultural machinery, 3D Models, 2D fabrication drawings.
