Hartley People are looking to recruit an experience Maintenance Engineer for a full time position based in the South East.  The position. Deliver utilities requirement to meet the needs of the plant on a 24/7 basis. Ensure all Maintenance operations are conducted in a safe and controlled environment. Utilise plant tools and systems to conduct RCA (Root Cause Analysis) where issues relating to service and under performance arise. Act as escalation point for maintenance issues across the site ensuring solutions are provided and actions to address root cause are implemented. Trend and analyse plant performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance and operation of the utility systems to ensure optimum performance. Develop and implement systems for scheduling and documenting the performance of all utilities. Routinely plan, administer and assess Condition Based Monitoring and Reliability Centred Maintenance activities. Responsible for overall plant utilities facilities including security and plant external areas. Management of site based contractors operating within the Utilities and Facilities function. Play a lead role in the preparation for and support of customer site audits and work to ensure the plant in a state of constant audit readiness. This includes the management of all relevant data on Glanbia’s maintenance management system (SAP. Train team members in the maintenance and operation of all utility plants. The ideal candidate: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in lead engineering role in a food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment. Experience in SAP PM, hygienic maintenance and best in class maintenance standards. Experience of complex project delivery. Third level qualification in Engineering/Science or a related discipline. Demonstrated knowledge of RCA tools and lean manufacturing techniques. Strong PC skills, Microsoft Office (Word, excel and MS Project), SAP (MM and PM) or other CMMS systems. Successful track record of project delivery in a start-up or large scale development project. Strong process knowledge in Dairy or similar industry. Ability to manage a range of complex engineering projects to completion. Experience in management of significant capital budgets.
