Our client an accountancy firm based in the Kilkenny area has an immediate 6 month contract available for an experienced Book Keeper with Payroll experience. If successful you will be responsible for the following: Full payroll for a portfolio of clients both weekly and monthly. Maintaining the accounts of our clients, preparing monthly Bank Reconciliation's. Creating and posting Journals. Month end reconciliation of all Nominal Accounts. Working to deadlines to deliver high quality accounting services. Processing and Filling Vat returns. Maintain Client relationships and operational support. Ad- hoc duties and general office administration when required. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Aof 2 years prior experience in bookkeeping within an Accounting Practice. Knowledge or experience in the following - Thesaurus or Sage (advantage. The ability to work as a team and also independently, using your own initiative to support clients required. Excellent communication skills. This is a contract position and hours are Monday to Friday however the client is very flexible if someone wanted a 4-day week.
