Our client currently has an immediate job available for an experienced Sales Administrator / Customer Service Rep for their offices in Kilkenny City. This job will suit you if you are customer service focused, motivated and enthusiastic and have strong attention to detail and multitasking skills and are looking for an opportunity to further your career. Main duties. Assist in the smooth running of their business by working primarily on the telephone dealing with both inbound and outbound calls and online orders. Ensuring that all incoming calls are handled in an efficient manner. Actively converting price quotation queries into sales. Ensuring that all customer queries are dealt with and resolved while maintaining good relations with existing customers. Database Management - setting up new customers and ensuring that existing customer details are up to date and accurate. Sales Generation: Actively targeting lapsed customers on a daily basis Following up on sales calls that aren't converted first time. Actively taking part in initiatives to generate prospects Contacting commercial prospects via targeted phone campaigns in order to generate leads to assist the field sales team in increasing market share Increasing new customers by a targeted number per month. Account Management Follow up with all new customers within one week to complete customer service audit Regular contact with key accounts to maintain good relations and create loyalty. Administration Carry out administration in relation to customer transactions including sales order entry, customer payments, credit collection. Carry out cash & stock reconciliations and other admin duties on an as required basis. The successful candidate will have: A min. of 2 years experience in customer focussed role. Experience of working in a telesales / Sales Admin environment with the ability to meet and exceed targets. Proficient in MS Excel.
