Hartley People are looking to recruit a Microsoft Excel/Visual Basic Developer , this role is a 3 month contract. Job Responsibilities: Elite VBA / Microsoft Excel developer – able to use a variety of formulae, pivots to analyse/solve problems. Execute developments to agreed standards; ensure documentation is to an auditable standard. Balance the need to meet expected high standards for changes with the need to provide an efficient and effective solution. Prioritise work streams within projects. Communicate development status to relevant key stakeholders. Role Requirements: Elite VBA developer in Excel. 2+ year’s VBA/Excel/Access macro development experience in a similar environment. Performing own Software Quality Assurance Testing. Able to break down a problem/process into logical steps. Capable of automating data extracts from a variety of file types – Excel/CSV/TXT. Define and use collections/classes in VBA to store and manipulate data. Output data to a variety of file types – Excel/CSV/HTML. Write own support documentation and support own macros.
