Customer Service / Import Clerk
Our client a Logistics Company based in Kilkenny currently have a job available for a Customer Service / Import Clerk to join their team. You must have experience of European Road Freight Import Groupage Services. Ideally you will be familiar with import services from any of the following countries, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Italy, France or Spain. Main duties: Receiving & placing bookings. Creating, updating & processing bookings in various systems. Customer Service & reporting internal & external. Documentation handling - Timely handling of customer queries. Arranging of Transport - Invoicing and file maintenance. Skills Required: 2 years of experience in a similar role. Knowledge of full and consolidation containers. Strong knowledge of customs clearance. Strong customer focus. Proven ability to multi-task, work in a team and maintain files. Excellent standard of verbal and written English. Excellent telephone manner. Strong IT skills in MS Office products with experience using databases. Excellent salary depending on experience plus performance related Annual Bonus.
