Fexco Managed Business Solutions and Outsourcing is currently recruiting for a Technical Support Specialist. This role is based in Kerry and is being offered on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. Job Purpose. The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) is the Issuing Authority with responsibility for the administration of the national Grant Programmes. Fexco provides Help Desk and Administration Services to SEAI in support of a number of different programme areas. As a specialist member of the Team your role will include provision of technical expertise to enhance the delivery of SEAI Programmes. You will liaise with SEAI management in the management of key programmes including: EXEED , Building Energy Rating, Home Energy Grants, Smart Lighting. Main Responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Helpdesk and administration support for query management across multiple programmes. Supporting in the development, modelling and testing of relevant programme systems. Provide support in the area of the Quality Assurance and Disciplinary procedures. Assisting in the areas of training specifications and requirements. Support in reviewing and updating technical guidelines, manuals and newsletters. Preparing and presenting technical reports across different programme areas. Other tasks / projects as may be required by the business. Qualifications/Experience Needed. Essential. Level 7 or above National Framework of Qualifications Award in a Building / Construction Management related discipline or equivalent accredited qualification from another EU state in a relevant discipline. Possess Project Management skills / Qualifications and be able to demonstrate relevant experience of up to 3 Projects managed in the past 3-5 years. Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask. Must have a high level of fluency of the English language. Ability to achieve results in a fast paced change management environment. Demonstrate an appetite for technical knowledge, learning and interpretation. Familiarity with the latest Energy Efficiency design and assessment methods. Desired. Expertise in the Building Energy Rating (BER) and Display Energy Certificate (DEC) methodologies, software and calculations. Knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and NZEB Standards. Practical experience of construction practices and BER survey methods. Knowledge of Energy Management processes; EXEED, ISO20000 and ability to evaluate associated projects. Competencies Required. Being a proactive and strong team player. Ability to prioritise, co-ordinate and manage a large volume of duties effectively and efficiently. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and SEAI team. Interpret, explain and apply complex policies, procedures , rules and regulations.
