Sales Representative – South East. Responsibilities. Actively market & sell veterinary products to Veterinary supply practices, Licensed Merchants & Co-Ops. Expand sales to an established portfolio of customers. Develop and drive new sales across the region by engaging with new customers and educating them about the benefits of products and services available. Proactively explore new sales opportunities and be first to market with products. Exceed sales and margin objectives by understanding the customers’ needs and providing outstanding customer service. Maximising sales opportunities on calls made and referrals received. Maintaining relations with the sales, orders and warehouse teams. Achieve productivity and ensure KPI’s are met – eg call targets achieved, customers contacted, cross selling and upselling targets. Build strong relationships with existing and potential customers. Manager debtors and ensure all trading accounts are operating within terms agreed. Be aware and report on competitor and industry updates. Any other duties and responsibilities which management deem appropriate from time to time. Reporting to the Operations Manager. Strong teamwork focus ensure full liaison with other team members and departments. Strong communications with account managers and staff. Requirements. You will have a passion for sales and display a dynamic and proactive sales approach. You will be highly motivated with a hunger to succeed. Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team. A good understanding of the veterinary wholesale market would be a distinct advantage but not essential. Excellent planning and organisation skills. Excellent IT skills– be computer literate and have an ability to update systems as it is received from customers over the phone or via email. Friendly and professional telephone manner. Confident, self-motivated, competitive and team player. A background in exceeding targets and closing sales. You will have a flexible approach to work, are open to change, continuous improvement and learning. Candidates must be eligible to drive in Ireland and have a full clean drivers’ licence. Benefits.
