What you need to know. You will work as a Junior Field Services Engineer for our client, a successful IT Solutions company in the South East. At times you will be required to provide remote support. Trouble-shoot issues relating to Servers, Networking, and LAN/WAN Connectivity, Email, Security, Permissions, Backups etc. Installation & Configuration of Servers, Firewalls and Networking devices. What are we looking for? Previous experience in a field technical support role including significant installation and customer-facing experience will be a distinct advantage. An industry recognised qualification is essential. Experience of installation & Trouble-shooting of Windows Server 2008/2012/2016. Experience in configuring and maintaining Office 365 and other SaaS solutions. Experience of Installation & System Administration of Windows 7/8/10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluent spoken and written English, to converse professionally with both non-technical end-users and at Board & Management level.
