Hartley People are looking to recruit an Quality Assurance Specialist for an exciting opportunity with a Kilkenny based company.  The Role: The role will sit within the Quality Assurance team. You will be working closely with Product Owners and Engineering teams, taking requirements and design documentation as input, clarifying testing requirements as necessary and defining test suites and scripts. The Person:  Experience with testing web and back-end applications. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or similar. Experience managing frequent release cycles. Ability to interrogate databases using SQL. Knowledge of testing mobile applications: iOS, Android. Solid experience of product and testing tools such as JIRA Agile, TestRail, etc. 3+ years’ experience in a software testing role. Strong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, detail oriented, analytical mindset. Knowledge of working in an Agile environment. Experience with test automation frameworks an advantage. Assists in identifying and mitigating potential information security threats and risks. The candidate should be familiar with testing principles and processes (including Agile) and will ideally have a strong technical background with experience in testing and test automation and/or software development.
