Due to strong growth, our client a leading Kilkenny based company are seeking Business Development Manager to join their growing team. . Your role will concentrate on generating new business focusing on International Multinationals. As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for: Prospecting and cold calling to identify potential opportunities. Pushing for meetings and ‘closing' the sale. Influencing key decision makers in multinational companies to work with us. Understanding & Implementing a sales plan. Understanding key performance indicators & working to targets. Managing your own prospect pipe line. Coming up with ideas on how to continually improve our business. Skills/Requirements. Previous experience in a similar sales consultant / field sales role or strong B2B telesales experience with the ambition to move into a sales / business development position. You must have previous experience with meeting and exceeding sales targets. Client facing with excellent communication skills and be a confident negotiator. You will be self-motivated and be comfortable working on your own initiative. Enthusiasm to grow new business for the team. Availability to travel with work on occasion. Strong personal resilience with objection handling skills. Full driver's license. Salary: €35,000 - €45,000 plus commission and benefits.
