MAIN DUTIES: To gain an accurate knowledge of the entire Hotel's Conference & Banqueting facilities including bedroom and suites. To achieve the room hire and C&B/Functions budget. Manage enquiries from proposal to conversion, including site inspections, issue of contracts, the smooth transfer to operations and efficient handling of billing to Accounts. Meet & greet the client and be liaison when in house. To ensure the efficient operation of the Sales office, weekly sales meeting minutes and progress of sales actions and assist in the generation of monthly revenue report. Manage key local corporate accounts and to maximise revenue yield from each. Accurate and timely entry and updating of records in CRM (Mindaclient) and on PMS (Hotsoft) and Account reports (monthly revenue, C&B forecasts. INDDD. To issue weekly function sheets and updates and attend daily ops and weekly sheets meetings to communicate client needs to operations team. Manage and develop the database including the issue of mailings to key segments (Christmas Parties, Debs etc.) Ensure that quality of the proposals and follow ups are as per the hotel standard.
