Key Responsibilities. To manage a number of existing customer accounts in order to maximize sales volumes and margins, and to grow key account relationships in the Clinical Nutrition sector. To identify, develop and execute new value adding opportunities into this growth sector for GI with existing and new customers. To develop senior level relationships with targeted customers and internal stakeholders, to ensure that the customers agenda is known and can be delivered within GI. To act as a key GI market intelligence resource and on a systematic basis to track, monitor and report on relevant developments in specified markets. To design and deliver the commercial strategy for the relevant customers and market sector. To work closely with our Innovation and product management functions to ensure that customer specific requirements, product developments and projects are aligned, managed and delivered. To contribute to the ongoing development of GI’s business strategy. Key Requirements: A 3rd level qualification in a Business/Food Science or related discipline. 5 years’ experience in the dairy industry or at a business to business level in the international food ingredients industry. A successful track record of business and new product development. Strong aptitude for financial analysis in order to interpret complex financial and commercial issues. Strong leadership qualities, capable of leading a team towards achieving objectives. An excellent communicator who uses facts constructively to influence results. A proven ability to deliver results in a challenging environment. Proven track record in developing and maintaining a wide range of relationships and information sources.
