Wildlife Officer. Applications are invited from experienced, flexible and highly motivated individuals for the role of wildlife officer with the Heritage Council. The post is based in Kilkenny and duties will include assisting the Council in the effective development of Heritage Policy in addition to the management of projects, grant schemes and the provision of best practice advice. Experience and qualifications: • Possess a minimum of a Third Level Degree qualification e.g. earth/natural sciences, planning, geography, zoology & botany. • Have a minimum of five years’ work experience in a relevant discipline subsequent to graduation. Evidence of post graduate experience will be an advantage. • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of partners. The successful candidate will be expected to have a full clean drivers licence and access to their own transport.
