Accommodation Manager- 4* Hotel. We are now seeking applications for an experienced accommodation manager for our esteemed client in Co Kilkenny. This is a well-regarded property and an opportunity to join a well-established close knit management team who work together to achieve operationally success. The successful candidate will manage the accommodation team and will ensure a high standard of cleanliness in bedrooms and all public areas. The role requires a strong hospitality manager who will have at least 2 years previous accommodation management experience at a senior level and a proven track record of managing a large team of 20 in hotel with 100 rooms or more. Main Duties will include: Ensuring that the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained in common areas and guest rooms, whilst making sure that all operations comply with health and safety regulations. Effective and efficient rostering through experienced forecasting. Liaising with front office and reservation and revenue team to manage occupancy and allocations to maximise profitability. Ensure that all necessary maintenance work is flagged and dealt with accordingly in conjunction with the maintenance department- and general upkeep is maintained through rigorous inspections. To be fully aware of all hotel business, with regard to occupancy, functions and event, VIP's and all other special requirements. Train, support and motivate the housekeeping team to achieve the short term targets and long term goals of the accommodation department.
