About the Job: Automation Engineer. Programming and implementation of changes to the process automation code and systems hardware. (ABB Sattline DCS, Allen Bradley PLCs, and others. Provide automation support to production, including troubleshooting and issue resolution. Lead process automation review with the production operating teams to identify process improvement opportunities through automation upgrades. Project manage automation projects, including the development of budgets, scope and system performance targets for tendering to external contractors. Work within a cross functional multidiscipline team environment. Manage process automation interfacing with MES, ERP & IT systems. Management of the site process automation system as part of the site automation team. Requirements: Automation Engineer. 3rd level qualification in engineering, computer science or related technical discipline. 5+ years experience in programming within large scale manufacturing, preferably in the dairy, food, beverage or pharma industry. Experience with SattLine, 800xA, RSLogix, Factory Talk, Wonderware and Allen Bradley PLCs. Experience with Ethernet and Profibus. Successful track record of project delivery. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Excellent communication – verbal & written. Application process: Automation Engineer.
