Description

Our client, a well established manufacturing company are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team on a contract basis. The Role: Train in the use of hand held inspection equipment. Train how to test adhesive strength and weight requirements of products. Become fully conversant with all company and Test Procedures, Product Data Sheets, Product Specifications & Laboratory test procedures. QC Lab 1: Become conversant with company coating Department, and QC Laboratory relating to inspection and testing requirements, data recording and retrieval. QC Lab 2. Become conversant with converting Operations relating to inspection and testing requirements, data recording and retrieval. Review, inspect and test materials returned subject to Customer Complaints in conjunction with a Technician and Quality Manager and CAPA team. Perform TAP product inspection and testing requirements to support Medical and Automotive customer product analysis requirements. The incumbent will remain flexible and trained to cover product inspection and testing requirements in QC Laboratories 1 & 2. Perform additional projects and tasks as identified by the Quality Manager and or business demand / change. Ensure compliance and adherence to all health and safety aspects. Assist and support internal auditing and external customer audit requirements. The Person: A third level quality related qualification is desirable. Experience of a manufacturing environment and processes relating to quality inspection, verification and control. Experienced in the use of laboratory inspection and test equipment. PC literate. Must be familiar with and experienced in the use of MS Word and Excel. Excellent written and verbal skills. Flexible to a changing work environment. Able to work on own initiative.
