Description

Hartley People are currently recruiting for a General Ledger Associate for a full time role. This is a permanent opportunity based in Waterford. Responsibilities: - General Ledger journal entries. - Financial Statement preparation. - Bank reconciliation and cash management. - Assist in monthly, quarterly and yearly closing process. - Year-end audit preparation and support. - VAT filing preparations. - Revenue and expense allocations and entries. - Balance sheet, intercompany, and bank reconciliations. Requirements: - Accounting Technician qualification or previous experience in a similar role with a 3 rd level degree. - Previous experience using Sage desirable. - Previous experience bringing accounts to trial balance stage. - Proficiency in data entry and excellent numerical and mathematical skills. - Ability to work autonomously and also as part of a team. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
