Duty Manager 4 Star Hotel Co Carlow. Our Client are currently recruiting for a Duty Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has a passion for customer service, who excels in operational food and beverage and who hopes to progress within a growing group. The successful candidate will assist the management team in ensuring the overall smooth and efficient running of the food & beverage outlets of the hotel. Main Duties: To monitor and direct all staff ensuring all duties are being carried out competently and in accordance with Company Procedures; To ensure a high standard of service and attention to detail within the hotel at all times; To maximise staff productivity and encourage staff motivation by helping to create a positive working environment; To ensure that all guest queries and feedback is dealt with in a professional and timely manner; To ensure that whilst on duty the food and beverage outlets of the hotel are operating efficiently and resourced to an optimum level; ensuring our guests receive a high level of service at all times; To roster staff accurately and effectively according to business requirements and to monitor these business levels daily; To follow rigidly all HR policies and procedures; To take a proactive approach to Fire, Health and Safety and Hygiene by identifying hazards and reducing risks, ensuring the health and safety of our guests and team at all times; Ensure that we are compliant with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2005; To establish and maintain a good working relationship with other members of staff and Management at all times. To familiarise yourself and to carry out duties laid out in departmental S.O.P. manuals. To ensure all security procedures are adhered too to safeguard company property. The successful candidate will have: Hotel specific food and beverage experience is essential, preferably at a management/supervisory level; At minimum 2 years management/supervisory experience within a hotel; Be capable of managing multiple projects at one time and executing same effectively; Excellent interpersonal skills; Be customer-focused and have a genuine commitment to service excellence; Be flexible and available to work varying shifts, 5 out of 7 days, to include weekends.
